June is finally here and although the weather’s been slightly odd to say the least, we can’t wait for the festival season to begin! With a great line up of acts throughout, the appetiser begins with Field Day. I went a few years back with a bunch of mates and although it’s nowhere near as big as the other festivals, Field Day was an ace day. Tasty food, beer and cider stands everywhere, massive tents and stages, top sound systems throughout AND the sun was blazing down. In my opinion, Field Day is definitely a festival worth watching out for.

Pixies, Future Island, SBTRKT, Jamie XX, Lunice, Erol Alkan, Metronomy, Danny Brown, Ghostpoet, Neneh Cherry, Simian Mobile Disco, Sky Ferreira, The Temper Trap, Warpaint, Tourist, The Horrors, among a whole load of other amazing acts to flood Victoria Park over Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June.

You may need your wellies but that line up will certainly distract you. The Pixies. Need I say any more?
