Introducing next; for our AW17 Mind Body Sole Campaign – straight from the delicious kitchen of Launceston Place in central London, is Head Chef Ben Murphy.

Ben has a passion for food and never-the-less, a passion for style as well. Set in the heart of Kensington; once Princess Diana’s favourite eating spot – ‘Launceston Place’ is now home to Ben Murphy’s tasty creations, as Head Chef.

Ben’s first goal in life, surprisingly wasn’t to become a chef; He first started his career when he was 16; he wanted to be a professional footballer & was pursuing playing for the QPR team, but his progress in the game came to an abrupt end, due to a collarbone injury. Some would have been crushed by this disappointment, but Ben turned his ambitions to food instead –

Thank Goodness!

Working as a Head Chef, you have to love to work under pressure, luckily Ben does – and he does it in style. Choosing our Jarvis Washed Grey kicks & Dalton Tan Chelsea boots, for the perfect, comfortable style to run around in, in his Kitchen. The Jarvis trainers offer a more lighter, casual vibe, while our Dalton Chelsea boots, boast a jagged / cleated sole, for those more ‘in demand’ days.

Ben ‘s menu at Launceston Place, has been developed by him over many years. His dishes are based on & inspired by his philosophy, previous jobs & menus he’s worked on, places he’s travelled to & of course inspiration from his favourite chefs. He describes his dishes as ‘Modern European’.

His contemporary fashion style, is reflected in his appetizing food creations, as you can see in his Carbonara ; also Ben’s favourite dish to make.
