Drink Drive Student Eats Own Underwear!

Can you think of a way to beat a police breathalyzer test? One thing we're sure of is that eating your own underwear isn't one of them right? .....wrong.

When 18 year old student David Zurfluh was pulled over by Canadian police, he ran from his vehicle after it had been seen weaving down the highway. After finally catching up with him and taking him back to their patrol car, police officers took out a breathalyzer test. After spotting the test, the two officers were needless to say a little bit shocked (and slightly amused) when Mr Zurfluh tried to eat his own underwear. Ripping the middle part out of his boxers the 18 year old student stuffed them in his mouth and tried to swallow!

When it came to the court case, people, including teachers and other students couldn't contain their laughter after hearing David Zurfluhs' testimony.

Apparently he thought that the cotton fabric would soak up the alcohol in his body before they breathalysed him!
When you really think about it... it was quite a cleaver idea... just a shame it wasn't one that was very logical or physically possible to carry out!
